Policy and Procedures for Registered Training Organisations
A set of policies and procedures should reflect the achievement of compliance with relevant legislation and Access and Equity
Quality benchmarking.
Policies and procedures support the following principles
- Accessible and equitable enrolment into a course as easily as someone without a disability
- Information relating to the course made accessible
- Provision of opportunity for staff and student to consult, communicate and negotiate any reasonable adjustments that enable the student to access the course
- Uphold the principles of privacy, confidentiality and respect towards student
- Ensure the integrity of courses and assessments are always upheld
- Provide staff and students with relevant support to understand freedom from harassment or victimisation
- Ensure processes allow for staff to be notified of suitable adjustments that will allow intended student learning outcomes
