Membership of ALDA is open to any person or organisation interested in the area of learning disability.

Benefits of ALDA membership will include:

• Contributing to a group which will promote the rights and needs of people with LD;
• Access to a network of people working in the field of LD;
• Discussion of LD issues and making recommendations on policy matters to decision making bodies at a national level;
• Access to effective communication channels using means such as the ALDA web site, email and conferences;
• Liaison with other relevant groups within Australia and internationally to further the goals of ALDA.
